Bob McKenzie is brought to life by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was developed originally as filler to both satisfy and laugh about dumb Canadian content guidelines, the duo transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
