In the video 12 Days Of Beardsmas (12 Days of Christmas Parody) | Fuzz Music, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of fictional Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a program which was featured on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. The character Bob McKenzie is performed by Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is performed by actor Dave Thomas. The bit was brought to life originally as a skit to both fulfill and makes jokes about dumb Canadian content rules, the brothers grew up to be a pop culture sensation in both Canada and across the border. The two became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
