Bob and Doug McKenzie in 12 Days of Beer

In the video 12 Days of Beer, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of fictional Canadian family members who were featured in “Great White North”, a program which was included on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it got sent to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob is played by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as fluff to both satisfy and make fun of silly Canadian content legislation, the siblings became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
