Bob and Doug McKenzie in 12 Days Of Christmas 2011

In the video 12 Days Of Christmas 2011, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hilarious Canadian family members who are responsible for “Great White North”, a sketch which was included on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. The character Bob McKenzie is brought to life by comic Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by actor Dave Thomas. The sketch was developed originally as a joke to both satisfy and laugh about silly Canadian content demands, the pair grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The two later became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
