In the video 12 Days of Christmas Bob and Doug, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of imaginaryfunny Canadian brothers who created “Great White North”, a program which was featured on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it got sold to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s character is performed by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is played by actor Dave Thomas. Which was brought to life originally as filler to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about non sensical Canadian content demands, the brothers morphed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
