In the video 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS BOB & DOUG, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of fictional Canadian brothers who created “Great White North”, a program which was aired on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob is played by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. The sketch was made originally as a sketch to both satisfy and make fun of stupid Canadian content guidelines, the brothers became a pop culture sensation in both Canada and America. The brothers went on to become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
