Bob and Doug McKenzie in 12 Days of Christmas, Irish Style, Frank Kelly
In the video 12 Days of Christmas, Irish Style, Frank Kelly, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hysterical Canadian family members who were featured in “Great White North”, a show which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is acted by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by Dave Thomas. Although developed originally as a joke to both please and make fun of non sensical Canadian content laws, the two grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie siblings later became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
Here is my interpretation on one of my favorite renditions of the 12 Days of Christmas. The Singer is Frank Kelly (Father Jack from the TV series of Father Ted) Sit back, get out the eggnog and enjoy! “Nollaig Shona Duit” Merry Christmas!

Well, what do you expect if you keep your girlfriend on the string for the past 40 years, and keep assuring her that "we've still got PLENTY of time to think about marriage," and "it's not fair to leave me poor, old fragile mother all alone?" (His 'poor, old, fragile' mother is a spry 92, and her own mother lived to be 107!) Revenge
is SWEET!!!
HAHAHA
Absolutley love it for Christmas is complete
I love this. Heard it as a kid, and never will forget it.
An all time favourite of mine.
Um…the 'singer'? Did you mean 'narrator'? Let me guess, 'auto-correct', right?
I remember hearing this as a child. It's far too accurate. That scares me, Lola.
