Bob and Doug McKenzie in 12 Days Of Christmas Karoke

In the video 12 Days Of Christmas Karoke, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hysterical Canadian comedians who created “Great White North”, a show which was included on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob McKenzie is played by Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by comic Dave Thomas. Although brought to life originally as a sketch to both please and makes jokes about stupid Canadian content legislation, the two morphed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and across the border. The two soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
