Bob and Doug McKenzie in 12 days of Christmas Lord of the Rings (A.R.S.F.U #13)

In the video 12 days of Christmas Lord of the Rings (A.R.S.F.U #13), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of fictional Canadian siblings who are responsible for “Great White North”, a show which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. The character Bob McKenzie is brought to life by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is acted by actor Dave Thomas. The bit was developed originally as filler to both follow guidelines and mock legal Canadian content guidelines, the duo morphed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
