Bob and Doug McKenzie in 12 Days of Christmas- Nick Poth

In the video 12 Days of Christmas- Nick Poth, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of strange Canadian siblings who were featured in “Great White North”, a show which was included on SCTV for the show’s third season when it was featured on CBC Television in the 80’s. The character Bob McKenzie is performed by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is performed by Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously brought to life originally as a joke to both satisfy and mock legal Canadian content legislation, the pair grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and America. The McKenzie siblings enetually would become the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
