Bob and Doug McKenzie in 12 Days of Christmas Parody!

In the video 12 Days of Christmas Parody!, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hilarious Canadian brothers who can been seen in “Great White North”, a segment which was introduced on SCTV for the show’s third season when it got sold to CBC Television in 1980. Bob McKenzie is played by Rick Moranis and the character Doug is brought to life by Dave Thomas. Which was born originally as filler to both please and make fun of silly Canadian content legislation, the duo morphed into a pop culture success in both Canada and America. The characters later became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
