Bob and Doug McKenzie in 12 Days of Christmas Parody

In the video 12 Days of Christmas Parody, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hilarious Canadian brothers who were featured in “Great White North”, a show which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in . Bob’s part is acted by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by Dave Thomas. The sketch was born originally as an idea to both please and mock annoying Canadian content laws, the duo became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The brothers soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
