Bob and Doug McKenzie in 12 days of Christmas – Piano Karaoke

In the video 12 days of Christmas – Piano Karaoke, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian brothers who were featured in “Great White North”, a segment which was shown on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it streamed by CBC Television in in the early 80s. The character Bob McKenzie is performed by Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by actor Dave Thomas. It was made originally as filler to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about network Canadian content guidelines, the brothers became a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the US. The characters enetually would become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
