Bob and Doug McKenzie in 12 Days of Christmas (Preformed by us)

In the video 12 Days of Christmas (Preformed by us), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of made up Canadian siblings who are responsible for “Great White North”, a program which was featured on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it was featured on CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob’s character is performed by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is acted by actor Dave Thomas. Which was made originally as a sketch to both satisfy and laugh about annoying Canadian content legislation, the characters morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
