Bob and Doug McKenzie in 12 days of Christmas school….

In the video 12 days of Christmas school…., Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of strange Canadian comedians who starred in “Great White North”, a skit which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob is created by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by Dave Thomas. The bit was born originally as an idea to both follow guidelines and make fun of annoying Canadian content legislation, the two morphed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the United States. The pair soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
