Bob and Doug McKenzie in 12 Days of Christmas

In the video 12 Days of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hilarious Canadian siblings who created “Great White North”, a program which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it braodcast by CBC Television in 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is played by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is played by actor Dave Thomas. Despite created originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and laugh at dumb Canadian content laws, the two became a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The two soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
