Bob and Doug McKenzie in 12 Days of Christmas

In the video 12 Days of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of made up Canadian actors who created “Great White North”, a show which was broadcast on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob’s part is played by comic Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as a sketch to both please and laugh at legal Canadian content laws, the pair became a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and across the border. The pair soon became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
