In the video 12 Days of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian siblings who starred in “Great White North”, a program which was streamed on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob McKenzie is acted by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is created by Dave Thomas. The sketch was developed originally as an idea to both follow guidelines and make fun of stupid Canadian content demands, the two transformed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie brothers enetually would become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
