Bob and Doug McKenzie in 12 Days of Christmas Video Response

In the video 12 Days of Christmas Video Response, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian family members who created “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was broadcast on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob’s part is acted by comic Rick Moranis and Doug is performed by actor Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously created originally as fluff to both please and laugh at stupid Canadian content statutes, the siblings transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
