Bob and Doug McKenzie in 12 Days Of Christmas

In the video 12 Days Of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of strange Canadian brothers who are responsible for “Great White North”, a sketch which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob’s part is created by Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. It was brought to life originally as a sketch to both fulfill and mock annoying Canadian content laws, the siblings morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and America. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
