Bob and Doug McKenzie in 12 Days of Christmas Wise Guy Style

In the video 12 Days of Christmas Wise Guy Style, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of fictional Canadian family members who can been seen in “Great White North”, a show which was aired on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is played by comic Dave Thomas. The bit was developed originally as an idea to both fulfill and mock silly Canadian content rules, the two grew up to be a pop culture success in both Canada and America. The characters enetually would become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
