Bob and Doug McKenzie in 12 Days of Cryptmas – The Cryptkeeper

In the video 12 Days of Cryptmas – The Cryptkeeper, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of made up Canadian comedians who starred in “Great White North”, a show which was televised on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s character is brought to life by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is played by comic Dave Thomas. Despite created originally as filler to both satisfy and laugh at stupid Canadian content policies, the brothers became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The brothers became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
