I remember when this came out and I remember watching it. I was in grade 9. December 1987, about 5 days before Christmas Day. Awesome. Shown during the 1st intermission during a Leaf game between Detroit. I was trying vainly to write down all the 12 days, but managed getting only 6 of them. Forgot the rest. Thanks for the memories. Good times.
Thanks Rico! It seems this video has received a great reception since I posted the link on HTR. Over 1200 hits in the past 5 days!
Anyway, glad you enjoyed it, bud. Merry X-mas!

To the person who commented that this video originally had the 6 Sutter brothers on the 6th day (instead of Mario):
Firstly, I deleted your comment by accident. I apologize (I clicked in the wrong spot).
Secondly, you're absolutely right! The video you're alluding to was the ORIGINAL "12 days" video, which was aired in the 1983-84 season in the Islanders "Drive for 5" season. It did feature the Sutter bros, plus the 5th day showed only the Islanders carrying the cup (not the Oilers or Habs).
You're right, it's time to update this video. But there's something about this one that appeals to me personally because I grew up watching hockey in that era. Great memories of 80's hockey.
Not when it aired. When it aired I always remembered it with 6 super set ups.
It was "6 super set-ups" in this version from 1987. But in an earlier version from 1983-84, it was 6 Sutter Brothers. I remember that.
there was a playoff montage video between the leafs and rhe redwings to the song "All I need is a miracle" sure wish I could rewatch that beauty...
leafs lost that game seven series though...they didn't get their miracle :(
I love this song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG I still remember as a kid racing around and throwing in a VHS tape around the 8th day of Christmas. Blast from the past! Thanks for sharing!!!
This is awesome!!!!!!
