In the video 12 Days of Joe Biden’s Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hilarious Canadian brothers who starred in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was included on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it streamed by CBC Television in the eighties. Bob’s partThe character Bob is acted by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is brought to life by the comedian Dave Thomas. Despite made originally as filler to both fulfill and makes jokes about annoying Canadian content statutes, the two became a pop culture hit in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie siblings later became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
