Bob and Doug McKenzie in 12 Days of MN Twins Christmas

In the video 12 Days of MN Twins Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of hysterical Canadian actors who created “Great White North”, a program which was broadcast on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it got sent to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. The character Bob McKenzie is acted by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. It was made originally as filler to both please and laugh about dumb Canadian content policies, the siblings transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The characters soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
