Niiiiine ma- meh- niiiine meh… MINE EYES HAVE SEEN THE GLORY…
this used to come on the radio when I was little. Didn't know the references then, just knew it was funny. Now it's a staple in my house every December.
Does anyone have written lyrics?

I think this is Erika Slezak's recording
So hilarious! Love when she goes into the battle hymn of the republic XD
"…and a surrey with a fringe on top!" ROFL
Heard this on the radio and struck me as one of the saddest, most gut-wrenching songs I've ever heard.
Heard this live at the Denver Jazz Club at one of Fay's last appearances in Denver circa 1998-99. What a great performer. I'd first heard this tune on the radio when it was first released in the early 1960's, and it's been my favorite Christmas Carol eversince.
I remember Fay doing this several times – I miss my then – Las Vegas <3
I used to do this in my xmas show and it got a great response lol trying not to laugh myself was hard
