In the video 18:04::::::Happy birthday Rick Moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of made up Canadian brothers who hosted “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was televised on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it aired by CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob McKenzie is played by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. The sketch was made originally as a skit to both please and laugh at legal Canadian content guidelines, the siblings grew up to be a pop culture success in both Canada and the US. The pair soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
