They combined Abbott & Costello with Midnight Express and The Midnight Special. The sheer brilliance of Dave Thomas, Joe Flaherty and company. Kudos! Comedy goldmine.

Sctv was brilliant in combining different acts and characters. And brilliant Abbott and costello imitation
Some years back there was a TV movie about Bud & Lou. The parts were played by Harvey Korman & Buddy Hacket. They never sold me
as to who they were portraying. I can only imagine how much better the film might have been if portrayed by these two. Amazing job
on both counts. Especially Lou Costello.
That is one great revision of w his on first shtick. Too bad all the musical numbers are blocked except Randy Newman,lol.
