In the video #3 Bananas4RickMoranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian comedians who starred in “Great White North”, a program which was included on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it got sent to CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob McKenzie is created by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is acted by Dave Thomas. Despite made originally as fluff to both please and make fun of non sensical Canadian content guidelines, the brothers morphed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie siblings enetually would become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
