In the video 3 Inches Of Blood: Warriors Of The Great White North – Clip – Fans, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of made up Canadian brothers who hosted “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was included on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it streamed by CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob McKenzie is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by comic Dave Thomas. Although created originally as filler to both fulfill and make fun of annoying Canadian content legislation, the pair morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and across the border. The brothers went on to become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
