In the video 3 Wishes (Dave Thomas Junior Cover) – Devon Busswood, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of odd Canadian actors who created “Great White North”, a segment which was streamed on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it got sent to CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s character is brought to life by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is performed by comic Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and mock annoying Canadian content legislation, the characters turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and across the border. The pair went on to become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
