In the video 42 Russian Show: Part 2 [116] [Seasons 4 & 5], Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hysterical Canadian comedians who starred in “Great White North”, a show which was televised on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob’s part is brought to life by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. Although born originally as a joke to both satisfy and laugh about legal Canadian content demands, the two turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie siblings became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
These videos are in no way meant to replace the purchasing of commercially produced DVDs of SCTV. Making this series available is in no way meant to break copyright law. I am hoping fans of the series will have renewed interest in SCTV and will spread the word about this Classic Canadian Comedy Legend.

Dr. Tongue is simulating an attack on Earth using a Fisher-Price Alpha Probe toy from their Adventure People series, just like the one that I got for Christmas in 1979/'80 when I was 7/8 years old, and have kept all these years. It's a really cool toy inspired by the Space Shuttle, is one of the first F-P toys with different electronic sound effects that you could change by pressing buttons on the wing, and it also has a multi-position life-support tether and a single occupancy exploration/escape craft that you could keep inside the cargo bay or mount on top of the shuttle with the bay doors closed, and also came with a couple of astronaut action figures.
