In the video A SPECIAL CHRISTMAS VIDEO !!!, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hysterical Canadian family members who were featured in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was included on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it moved to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob’s part is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. The sketch was brought to life originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about non sensical Canadian content policies, the two morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and across the border. The pair soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

Late to the party, but Yesterday was the celebration of Christmas in Mosul , Iraq after the liberation from the Isis !! The place is full of smiles and laughter I am so happy for them :)

hi morris & yes if you listen to the dropcick murphys more in general,chances are you'll get into them at least a bit more as it can take some time for this band to grow on to you as it took some time for them to grow onto me as well. the album called the singles collection is my fav by them by far.

Very nice mittens! Thank you for being part of our live chat and taking part in our album reviews. I never think of Sparks having a Christmas song but they actually do. I love Ron's "piano solo" in "Thank God It's Not Christmas" and he doubles the solo live, ha ha. Paul's Christmas song is so catchy but I never know if I love it or if it is annoying... I think my favorite might be Bob and Doug McKenzie's 12 Days Of Christmas.
