Bob and Doug McKenzie in A Superhero Christmas Album

In the video A Superhero Christmas Album, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of made up Canadian comedians who are responsible for “Great White North”, a show which was featured on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is performed by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is acted by Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was created originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and make fun of legal Canadian content laws, the duo transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
