In the video Actor Rick Moranis randomly attacked in Manhattan, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of fictional Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a sketch which was included on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it got sent to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob’s character is played by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by Dave Thomas. It was made originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about silly Canadian content statutes, the siblings became a pop culture success in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie siblings later became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
