Bob and Doug McKenzie in Actor Rick Moranis Victim of Attack

In the video Actor Rick Moranis Victim of Attack, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of made up Canadian comedians who hosted “Great White North”, a program which was aired on second city television for the show’s most watched season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob McKenzie is performed by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by comic Dave Thomas. The sketch was brought to life originally as filler to both please and make fun of dumb Canadian content demands, the pair grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The brothers enetually would become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
