In the video airband83 The Beer Hunter, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian brothers who can been seen in “Great White North”, a show which was introduced on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it braodcast by CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob’s character is played by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is performed by the comedian Dave Thomas. Despite created originally as a sketch to both fulfill and laugh about annoying Canadian content laws, the pair turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the USA. The two enetually would become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
