In the video aj’s bob & doug mckenzie collection eh, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of fictional Canadian siblings who can been seen in “Great White North”, a sketch which was streamed on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it moved to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob’s character is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by comic Dave Thomas. Although born originally as an idea to both satisfy and laugh about dumb Canadian content legislation, the characters grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The two soon became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
