In the video Amber Turd gets the Business From Moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of made up Canadian family members who starred in “Great White North”, a program which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is created by actor Dave Thomas. The bit was born originally as a joke to both please and make fun of non sensical Canadian content demands, the two morphed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the USA. The brothers enetually would become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
