In the video American Psycho & Ghostbusters [Rick Moranis gets chased by a naked Christian Bale], Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of made up Canadian comedians who hosted “Great White North”, a skit which was broadcast on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it streamed by CBC Television in the eighties. Bob’s part is acted by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by Dave Thomas. Which was made originally as an idea to both fulfill and make fun of non sensical Canadian content legislation, the siblings grew up to be a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the States. The characters became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
