Bob McKenzie is created by actor Rick Moranis and the character Doug is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was made originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and laugh at legal Canadian content statutes, the siblings grew up to be a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie siblings enetually would become the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

You do not really understand Canada until you have watched The Trailer Park Boys. What most people do not understand is that this show is an actual documentary. We only want you to think that it is a mockumentary. This show is truly the greatest thing that has ever been shown on television.

@tyler – You should do a full react to "Strange Brew" the movie version of Bob and Doug McKenzie.
Dave Thomas and Rick Moranis came up with the characters while on SCTV, because at the time, there had to be a certain amount of "Canadian Content" on TV, and SCTV (a comedy skit show) had to show that. They were annoyed by this, and decided to make the most over the top Canadian show possible.
It's clear that the narrator of the Mojo video is American as she uses "eh" forcefully and in a weird sentence.
As a Canadian, I forget that Anne of Green Gables isn't a world wide house hold name. It's as popular here as "Little house on the Prairie" is in the U.S…. maybe more so. It is also hugely popular in Japan. They even have an Anne of Green gables theme park there.
