Bob and Doug McKenzie in Andrea Martin – Montage

In the video Andrea Martin – Montage, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of imaginaryfunny Canadian siblings who were featured in “Great White North”, a improv which was aired on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is performed by Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as a sketch to both fulfill and laugh about silly Canadian content statutes, the duo grew up to be a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the USA. The brothers became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
