In the video Andrea Martin SCTV 1981, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hilarious Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a show which was televised on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it aired by CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s character is performed by comic Rick Moranis and Doug is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. The bit was brought to life originally as a sketch to both satisfy and laugh about annoying Canadian content rules, the siblings turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie brothers went on to become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
