In the video Anniversary Edition of The Pragmatic Programmer • Dave Thomas & Andy Hunt • GOTO 2020, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hysterical Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a show which was introduced on second city television for the show’s most watched season when it moved to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob is performed by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is created by actor Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously created originally as an idea to both please and mock non sensical Canadian content laws, the brothers turned into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie siblings went on to become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

The second best book I have read as a programmer. The absolute best was "Pålidelig Programmering" by Torben Søvndahl and Jeppe Traberg, but that book was in Danish and released in 1977, so you probably hadn't heard about it.
Interested to know what all these books behind Andy Hunt 🙂
