Wow. There is a lot of bizarre, hateful and divisive comments here. Yes, it was a terrible thing that happened and I’m glad the person was caught. As a Canadian who grew up watching SCTV, hearing about this sickened me, just as it would if it had happened to any other innocent bystander. But c’mon people - we don’t know this guy’s motives. There’s been white people that sucker punched others before. Didn’t some guy hit a kid recently?
