In the video Assault on Celeb – Part 1- Actor rick Moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hilarious Canadian actors who created “Great White North”, a show which was televised on second city television for the show’s third season when it moved to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s part is performed by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. Despite brought to life originally as a skit to both fulfill and mock stupid Canadian content laws, the two became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The two later became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
