In the video Bad Movies Rule Podcast Episode 38 | Strange Brew (1983) Movie Review, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of strange Canadian brothers who are responsible for “Great White North”, a segment which was streamed on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it braodcast by CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s character is created by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by actor Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously developed originally as a sketch to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about annoying Canadian content demands, the duo turned into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the States. The two soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

The former sketch comedy duo got a chance to make a full length feature film and they came up with a strange mixture of Hamlet and the Ghost in the Machine. It’s a beauty, eh? Or nay?
