In the video Bane is Playing with His Dolls Again, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of imaginaryfunny Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a sketch which was shown on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s part is acted by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. Which was brought to life originally as filler to both please and mock network Canadian content statutes, the siblings grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The characters went on to become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
