In the video Barry McGuire – Eve Of Destruction, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of fictional Canadian brothers who can been seen in “Great White North”, a show which was featured on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob’s part is acted by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. Which was made originally as filler to both fulfill and laugh about non sensical Canadian content legislation, the characters morphed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

You don't know when this song was relevant!!!!???? When it first came out!
