Bob and Doug McKenzie honoured with life like statues., Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of odd Canadian siblings who created “Great White North”, a skit which was televised on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it got sent to CBC Television in . Bob’s part is played by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is played by comic Dave Thomas. The sketch was made originally as a joke to both fulfill and makes jokes about stupid Canadian content statutes, the characters morphed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie brothers went on to become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
